Sampling is the important step where your design idea takes on physical form. It's the process we use following on from 3D design and digital sampling to create an initial copy of your design, allowing you to see, feel, and experience it before making the final decisions on production.

How It Works, From 3D Render to Reality

Step 1:  Our digital sampling is a process which helps to reduce waste emissions by up to 97% and speed up production from 3 months to just 3 weeks. We create a digital render/sample using your sketch, illustration or annotated reference image given to create a 3D life-like garment render that accurately illustrate fit, texture and colour. 

Step 2: Select fabric and test swatches. This can be done by yourself, or we can support you with fabric sourcing. 

Step 3: We use the pattern created by the digital sample to create the initial piece (first unit) which can be sold or kept as an inhouse sample or press loan piece. 

Step 4: You go on to produce more units and can start from as little as 1 piece. 

How Long Does Sampling Take?

TFB STUDIOS aims to balance speed with uncompromised quality therefore the time it takes to sample a garment is dependent on the complexity of your design and the number of revisions needed.
